A.D. Coote & Co specializes in the supply and manufacture of steel columns for street lighting, car parks, sports floodlighting, and other purposes, such as CCTV columns. Additionally, A.D. Coote & Co manufactures other made-to-order steel and aluminum products, such as bus shelters, wheat bins, and building products.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) Coordinator role. The OHSE Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, implementing corrective actions, and providing safety training to employees. This role requires working closely with employees and management to maintain and improve safety systems and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and skills in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety
• Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
• Occupational Health background or experience
• Experience in Safety Training and Development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with employees and management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in relevant Occupational Health and Safety courses, such as a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, is preferred
