At A.D. Coote we stock a number of different styles of Urban Aluminium multifunction poles.

Multifunction poles are generally extruded from Aluminium with 4 grooves down each side of the pole at 90-degree intervals. These grooves allow the ease of fitting and retro fitting of all the modern essentials for smart cities including but not limited to:

• Traffic lights and associated hardware
• Street and wayfinding signs
• Custom spotlights
• Wi-Fi brackets
• People counters
• Speakers
• Digital screens

However, multifunction poles can be utilised for decorative motives and even full-blown artwork as per our projects in Kalamunda and the City of Canning’s Cecil Avenue project. Creatively the poles offer the artist a 3D landscape to work with which can offer stunning results when blended with the correct lighting and colour options.

Another benefit of the multifunction pole is to incorporate a catenary wire system with custom lighting to the poles. This can enhance streetscape projects by lighting both vertically and horizontally creating a unique lighting experience.
